East Kootenay Area Guide Rally 2007 "Once upon a Time" is an opportunity for all East and West Kootenay Area Guides to meet for a weekend of fun, challenge, adventure and friendship hosted by Cranbrook District.

WHEN: April 20 – 22, 2007
Participants to arrive after 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20th
Departure is at 11:00 am on Sunday, April 22nd

: All Guides

WHERE
: Wasa Community Hall - Wasa, B.C.

COST
: $30.00 per girl. Full payment due with application form, payable to your Unit.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Saturday, March 17, 2007

QUALIFICATIONS: All Girls must be members of Girl Guides of Canada.

FORMS REQUIRED (please refer to registration package)
Signed OA1-Permission Form; H1-Health Form; Send all information about dietary restrictions for your camper. Be specific. We DO NOT want to hear about food preferences – only serious dietary needs such as allergies, vegetarianism and religious restrictions;
OA4-Expectations for Participation; and OA3-Wellness Statement – if treated by a
physician for an illness or injury within one month of the date of camp.
A full weekend of activities is planned. Full uniforms are required for Saturday.
Health Forms: A current completed health form for each participant (with photo) is to be included with the registration form. Each participant should be traveling with a health form on their person.

MISCELLANEOUS
:
Hats are required to be worn the entire weekend. (Forgetting a hat is not an excuse for not wearing one)

Travel with all medication. We do not provide medications at camp. If you may
need something, bring it in the original container provided by the pharmacy/store
and clearly labeled with the camper’s name and instructions about the dosage
written clearly and give to the First Aider on site. Girls should carry a medical
form when traveling.

There will be unscreened non-member adults that will be assisting in the
supervision of your child under the direction of a Guider and Core Staff
