The 2nd Year Brownies and Guides met after school to go hike down to Fletcher Falls for a bridging event before the Brownies move up to Guides.   At the top of the trail, we loaded up backpacks with firewood and food.  Then we started the 10 minute hike down to Fletcher Falls.  When we got there, the girls started by building rock figures and playing along the beach.  I had a couple of girls who came and helped me build a fire for the weiner roast.  Each Girl got to light one side of the fire.  After a bit we called six Girls up to start cooking their hot dogs. We had veggies and dip while we were waiting for our turn to cook.  After we had our fill of hot dogs and marshmallows, I took a group of Girls up to look at the waterfall  and rock paintings.
